個展「斜光」開催 ～ガラス造形～ ステートメント
来月、3月15日（月） ～ 3月20日（土）の会期で、個展を開催予定です。
個展 -斜光-で発表する作品について綴ります。
ステートメント
現在の吹きガラス技法の作品では、透明と不透明の両方のカラーガラスを使用している。普段は光とガラスの関係を考えているからですが、その一方で、私はガラスの入れ物を探し求めていて、それらは内に空気と光を抱えている。
ガラスの塊は光と影の表現を強調しているけれど、私のテーマはそれに空気、要するに目に見えない存在も含まれている。そういう理由があって、私は自分の作品に塊ではなく器の形を用いている。
前回に引き続き、その方向の作品をこの展覧会でも表現します。

Statement of - Slanting light -
With my current hot glass work, I use the color glass of transparent and opaque glass. This is because I usually think about the relationship between light and glass. But on the other hand, I have explored forms of different glass vessels and these are hold air and light within.
I think a lump of glass emphasize the expression of light and shadows, but my theme also includes air, that is, an element which is invisible to the eyes. That is why I use the form of vessel for my art work.
Continuing from the last time, I’ll express such works in this exhibition.
